Overview
Designing for an app with millions of users means finding the balance between beauty and function. I worked with the Product Team to enhance two key areas of the Muslim Pro app: the Community feature (named "Ummah Pro") and the Quran "Learn" section.
Interaction Design (The "Ummah" Community Feature)
The Goal: Launch a new social space within the app where users can connect.
My Role: I designed and animated the empty states and onboarding micro-interactions.
The Approach: The animation needed to feel welcoming but lightweight. I used smooth, looping motion to encourage users to post their first thought, turning a static "empty screen" into an invitation to engage.
The QURAN "Learn" Page
The Goal: Create a consistent visual language for the Quran learning page
My Role: Enhance the visual experience for the Quran 'Learn' page.
The Approach: Ensuring consistency with the app’s brand identity, look, and feel, I centred on creating visuals that reflect the meaning of each surah, incorporating motifs such as landscapes, mountainous views, and animals to symbolise the stories within the Quran.
